"See how much we care about that? You guys think ahead so far. We're not capable of doing that."
-Oregon QB Nate Costa quoted in today's Oregonian, essentially telling reporters that he'll leave the worrying about where the Ducks are ranked in the AP poll to them
Well, it's a good thing Nate Costa didn't worry about it, because the voters took care of it. After then-#1 Alabama (now #8) fell to then-#19 South Carolina (now #10), the Ducks moved up a spot in AP voting and now sit at #2, behind Ohio State.
Despite their utter inability to make a creative campaign for a potential Heisman candidate, the Oregon State Beavers did sneak back into the Top 25 after a win over then-#9 Arizona (now #17). The Beavs are now at #24.
